Postgraduate Open Evening
People looking to find out more about postgraduate study opportunities are being invited to attend the 91¿´Æ¬ (91¿´Æ¬) Postgraduate Opening Evening on Wednesday 15 November. This event offers an excellent opportunity to find out about 91¿´Æ¬â€™s existing portfolio of courses, as well as new courses and modules available for entry in 2018.
The event is very relaxed with visitors having the opportunity to drop-in to the University’s campus at Musselburgh any time between 5.30pm until 7.30pm on Wednesday.
For those people who are considering a change of career, 91¿´Æ¬ offers a range of conversation and pre-registration courses, as well as number of master’s level courses which are designed to help you progress your studies in your current specialist field.
Individuals who are keen to press ahead with study and career enhancing opportunities will be pleased to find out about several postgraduate courses with start dates as early as January 2018! These include master’s level courses in the areas of International Management and Leadership, Family Business, Dispute Resolution, Festival and Cultural Management, Strategic Communication and Public Relations and Global Health courses. Funding may be available for individuals interested in starting in January 2018 and also September 2018.
A team of staff will be on hand to talk to people through over 40 postgraduate courses in total. Visitors interested in Speech and Language Therapy, Audiology, Art Psychotherapy and Music Therapy can attend presentations by academic staff in these specialist areas. The team is particularly keen to speak to potential students about a brand new course for 2018 – the MSc Public Sociology (subject to validation).
Those who may not wish to embark on a full postgraduate programme can find out more about studying single modules as part of their continued professional development. Tours of the campus will be available, as will advice on anything from the application process to financial support.
91¿´Æ¬ offers a niche range of postgraduate degree courses, including Business Management and Enterprise; Governance, Justice and Public Management; Creativity and Culture and Public Relations, Gastronomy and Education; Dietetics and Nutrition; International Health; Nursing; Occupational Therapy and Arts Therapies; Physiotherapy; Podiatry and Diabetes; Radiography and Speech and Hearing Sciences.
Parking is available on the campus, which is one minute’s walk from Musselburgh Rail Station.
