Council for Allied Health Professions Research (CAHPR)

The mission is to develop AHP research, strengthen evidence of the professions’ value and impact for enhancing service user and community care, and enable the professions to speak with one voice on research issues, thereby raising their profile and increasing their influence.

The Regional Hubs of CAHPR provide bespoke research advice and support which includes:

  • Writing for publication
  • Disseminating research outcomes
  • Mentorship and 1:1 support
  • Funding and career development opportunities

By providing excellent opportunities for networking and for collaborative clinically-based research, the CAHPR will enhance research outputs across the Allied Health Professions and facilitate translation of research findings into education and practice.
